Oh Hell — boerenbridge in Dutch, and also Blackout, Oh Pshaw, Nomination Whist or Up and Down the River depending on who taught you — is a trick-taking game where each player first says how many tricks they expect to take. This app takes the bids, takes what was actually won, and does the rest. It runs on iPhone, and everything stays on the phone.

Free games deal up to three cards a round. That is enough to learn the app on a real evening rather than on a demo, and enough to find out whether the way it counts matches the way your table counts.
€1.99, or $2.99 in the United States. Once. Not a subscription, not per game, not per player. It unlocks the whole deal — climbing from one card to as many as the table can take, and back down — for good, and Family Sharing is on, so one purchase covers the household.
There is nothing to host: no account, no server, no data of yours anywhere but your phone. Charging rent for that every month would be hard to justify, so we don't. If you reinstall or change phones, Restore purchase on the unlock screen brings it back — the purchase belongs to your Apple ID, not to us.
A bid that comes off exactly scores ten points plus a few per trick — three by default. A bid that misses loses that same amount for every trick of difference, in either direction. The points per trick are yours to set, and changing them re-scores every round already played, so a mid-game correction is not a rewrite.
The bids may not add up to the number of tricks in the round, so somebody always goes down. The dealer bids last and therefore carries it. The app enforces this: if the totals line up, the round will not save until a bid changes, and it says whose bid is the problem.
Rounds climb from one card to as many as the table can take, then come back down. Most tables turn a card for trump, which costs the deal one card — four players peak at twelve, not thirteen. That is a switch, per game, because plenty of tables don't. The app suggests the next round's count from what was actually dealt, so deleting or correcting a round does not throw the ladder off.
The deal passes to the left, so the app needs to know where people sit. The player list is the seating order — hold a name and drag it. Get it right and the dealer and the bidding order follow.
Start a game in manual mode and type the points, negatives included. The sheet, the totals and the history all work the same; the app simply stops having opinions.

Most privacy policies are written to permit as much as possible. This one describes what the app does, which is not much, because there is nowhere for anything to go.
Deleting a game deletes it. Deleting the app deletes all of it. If you use iCloud device backup, the app's data is included in that backup under Apple's terms — that is Apple's copy, not ours.
The unlock is sold by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never see your name, address or card details. The app asks the store two questions — what the product costs, and whether this Apple ID owns it — and stores the answer to the second one locally so it works on a plane.
The speaker button uses the speech engine built into your phone. The sentence is composed and spoken on the device and is not sent anywhere. The app does not use the microphone, and does not ask for it.
None. The app does not request location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or notifications.
The app is rated 4+ and suitable for anyone. Since it collects nothing, it collects nothing from children either.

Er valt niets te hosten: geen account, geen server, geen gegevens van jou ergens anders dan op je telefoon. Daar elke maand huur voor vragen is lastig te verdedigen, dus dat doen we niet. Na een herinstallatie of op een nieuwe telefoon haal je hem terug met Aankoop herstellen.
Precies goed geboden levert tien punten op plus een paar per slag — standaard drie. Fout geboden kost datzelfde aantal per slag verschil, of je er nu boven of onder zit. Het aantal punten per slag stel je zelf in, en alle gespeelde rondes worden dan herberekend.
Het totaal aan biedingen mag niet gelijk zijn aan het aantal slagen, dus er gaat altijd iemand nat. De deler biedt als laatste en draait ervoor op; de app slaat de ronde pas op als er een bod verandert, en zegt erbij wiens bod het is.
Meestal wordt er een troefkaart gedraaid, en dat kost het delen één kaart: met vier spelers is twaalf de top, niet dertien. Dat is een schakelaar per potje, want lang niet iedereen doet het zo. De volgorde van de spelerslijst is de volgorde aan tafel — houd een naam vast en versleep hem, dan kloppen de deler en de biedvolgorde vanzelf.
